Prashant Sarkhedi

Mr. Sarkhedi is a passionate professional with more than 23 years of experience in finance, accounting, fund raising and general management. He is a disciplinarian, has in-depth knowledge and insight on diverse subject matters and possesses excellent organizational and motivational skills.

Mrs. Kruti Shah

Independent Director

A Physics graduate by degree and a journalist by training, she has carved her professional journey across various roles in the field of content and communication. With positions like Senior Correspondent and Editor Lead at Times of India Group and Content Head at Chief Minister’s Office, Government of Gujarat, she has earned rich experience, knowledge and proficiency in her field. She led key assignments for Government of Gujarat and Government of India in documenting content, working on digital and social media platforms and framing communication strategies during her role as a Communication Head of a media company. She ventured upon her entrepreneurial journey with The First Penguin, where she spearheads assignments on research-based, in-depth and creative content and communication, including curating of training modules for various coaching firms and organisations. She is also the Founder of Mighty Acorns, a life-skills and communication programme for children.

Amit Chokshi

Independent Director

Mr. Amit Chokshi started his professional career working as Executive with Gujarat Steel Tubes Ltd (GST), Ahmedabad, in company’s Finance Department. He then worked with GST for around 7 years, from December, 1981 to November, 1987. Mr. Amit Chokshi joined GRUH Finance Limited (a subsidiary of HDFC Ltd – a company popularly known as ‘GRUH’), Ahmedabad. GRUH was an excellent niche-player providing finance into rural & semi-urban areas and it operated on Pan-India basis.

He handled retail operations of GRUH of different states, such as, Gujarat, MP, Chhatisgarh & Rajasthan. The Retail Operations encompassed varied functions such as Strategic Business Planning, Marketing, Credit Evaluation of eligible Home-loan customer, Legal & Technical Evaluation of properties under finance, Post-disbursal Servicing & handling of Collections. He handled work of Project Finance & Legal, as General Manager at GRUH. Mr. Amit Chokshi was also involved in tying-up for project finance with the leading developers, carrying out due diligence of potential project-developers & project under finance. GRUH operated its work of project financing on a PAN-India basis and all the processes (due diligence, sanction, disbursement, collection etc, was centralized at company’s Ahmedabad Head Office, under him.

His long professional association with GRUH with GRUH from Nov-1987 to June-2019 and working of more than 32-years into real estate field, enriched me with an excellent insight of working of real-estate & financing work. Post merger of GRUH Finance into Bandhan Bank, he worked as a professional Consultant (Project Finance & Legal), for 3.5 years period (July, 20219 to December, 2022)

Anand Patel

Executive Director

Mr. Patel had been the Additional City Engineer with the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. With over 35 years of hands on experience, he has put in massive efforts in looking after the construction of houses for the urban poor by engaging in Slum Relocation and in-situ Redevelopment; also the EWS/LIG houses under different schemes/programs by GoG, GOI. He has worked assiduously in zonal administrative and engineering projects related to public services. His positive steadfastness has proved to be a remarkable credential in his work area and has earned him elevated endorsements / accolades in the fields of planning, preparation of tenders, execution of capital works in water supply, drainage, SWD, public building works, bridges, roads.

Rajal Mehta

Ms. Rajal is an eminent Strategic Planner & 360o Marketing Consultant with professional educational background of Engineering & MBA. She is engaged in discovering her quest towards the business which she was passionate about from her childhood. She is the founder-CEO of “SMART TOUCH” – a strategic consultancy boutique engaged in exclusive consultancy especially in Real-Estate, FMCG, Health, and Education. Various reputed corporate clients (e.g. Rajani Group of Companies, Ban Labs, Samay Group, ICFAI Business School, & ICRI) as well as public sector undertakings have benefitted from her 15+ years of rich experience. She is a Specialist in perfecting the brand-image and business development based on her skillful ideas, planning, and implementation.

Shrinjay Joshi

Mr. Shrinjay S Joshi is commerce graduate and is an expert of financial services mainly into loan syndication and life insurances. He works through his firm SJ Associates and posses rich experience of more than ten years. Mr. Joshi was the Chairman of CII-Yi (Confederation of Indian Industry – Young Indian) Ahmedabad Chapter and currently he is Chairman of Western Region of CII-Yi.

Carbon Neutral Initiatives

We are dedicated to environmental stewardship through our comprehensive Carbon Neutral Initiatives. Our completed project, Capital Square in Gift City, Gandhinagar, is a modern coworking space for over 800 seats, designed to be carbon neutral and minimize environmental impact.

To ensure transparency, a carbon neutrality audit was conducted by TÜV India, certified our Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions per ISAE 3410, ISO 14067, ISO 50001 ISO 14064-1, PAS 2050 and PAS 2060 standards. Collaborating with Deloitte, we assessed our GHG emissions and followed strategic recommendations to offset them by purchasing carbon credits from Veera, supporting global carbon offset projects We lead in sustainable real estate development, championing carbon-neutral activities and investing in credible carbon offsets for a greener future.

Sustainability is at the core of our operations. We avoid unnecessary resource consumption by implementing a paperless workflow, leveraging our advanced ERP system for digital documentation. This enhances efficiency while significantly reducing waste. We actively reduce our carbon footprint by promoting electric vehicle adoption among our team and stakeholders, supporting a cleaner, greener urban environment. To offset our environmental impact, we invest in sustainable initiatives that contribute to carbon neutrality, ensuring responsible energy use and waste management. Recognizing that some environmental impact is residual, we continuously seek innovative solutions to mitigate our footprint, fostering a culture of sustainability that inspires responsible consumption and a greener future for our communities and the planet.

Natural Spaces

Our commitment to sustainability extends beyond our buildings. We have created over 258,336 sq. ft. of lush median green areas, enhancing urban biodiversity, cleaning the air, and cooling the microclimate to improve community well-being. At PRANA, We are redefining urban living through innovative Vertical Greenery in our landmark high-rise project. An 18,000 sq. ft. rooftop terrace offers a serene retreat, promoting energy efficiency by reducing urban heat. In Ambaji district, Gujarat, we are empowering local communities through sustainable education initiatives that foster holistic development. Our efforts focus on enhancing education quality and supporting underprivileged students, especially girls.  

Infrastructure Improvement: Upgrading school facilities, classrooms, and learning tools to create a stimulating environment for students.

Child Education Programs: Providing education, transportation, and career guidance to schoolgirls, with many now excelling in government jobs, medicine, and engineering.

Advanced Learning Opportunities: Establishing a computer lab with online teaching services, offering personalized guidance to bridge the digital divide.

Health Front

As of December 2024, we have supported 1,062 high-risk malnourished women, leading to 962 successful pregnancies. Remarkably, there have been zero maternal or newborn deaths among our beneficiaries, reflecting the impact of our dedicated care.

Primary Health Centre & Community Care:   A state-of-the-art health center on our school premises provides accessible healthcare, regular check-ups, vaccinations, and health education for the community.

Fighting Tuberculosis in Ambaji: Our efforts in early detection and treatment have reduced the TB prevalence rate in Ambaji from 5% to 0.5%, showcasing our commitment to eradicating preventable diseases.

Maternal & Child Health Support: We provide prenatal and postnatal care, ambulance services, and doctor facilities, ensuring safe pregnancies and healthy births. Our efforts have resulted in zero pregnancy failure and no child malnutrition.

Comprehensive Healthcare: We organize health camps, awareness drives, and vaccination programs, educating the community on hygiene, nutrition, and healthy lifestyles.

Social Upliftment

We are committed to uplifting vulnerable communities, ensuring they live with dignity and hope. Since April 2022, in collaboration with Sambhav Trust, we have distributed 3,450 kits as of December 2024. Every month, 100 beneficiaries continue to receive support without interruption, reinforcing our dedication to sustainable impact.

Supporting Salt Workers:   We focus on helping salt workers who face harsh working conditions and challenges during retirement, often without family support.

Monthly Food Kit Distribution: To ease their burdens, we provide monthly food kits with essential groceries, ensuring balanced nutrition and financial relief.

Reaching the Neediest: Our team actively identifies those most in need, building trust within the community to deliver targeted support.
